Stirling branch of An Comunn Gaidhealach ceilidh will be held in the Lesser Albert Hall, Dumbarton Road, Stirling on Saturday, March 22 at 7.30 p.m. Artistes for the evening will be Fiona MacKintosh, Catriona Watt, Iain Begg, Cluaran Highland Dancers and piper Innes Smith. Admission is £5 including tea. Everyone will be made very welcome. This is the last of the ceilidhs until Saturday, September 20.

Spring is just around the corner and Plean Country Park Walk Group will soon start its fifth season of health walks. The group will hold its first walk on Monday, April 7 at 1 p.m. in the park and would welcome anyone who would like to join us to shake off winter and take some exercise in the outdoors. The walks are open to all, run by fully qualified walk leaders and aimed at improving your fitness so whether you just haven’t walked for a while or don’t like to walk on your own, these walks are for you. Enjoy a walk in beautiful surroundings, a safe environment, while increasing your fitness levels and meeting new people. The group meets at the same time every week at the Miner’s Statue in the car park. Wear sturdy comfortable footwear, bring something to drink and dress for the weather.
