Mountaineering Club

Ochils Mountaineering Club will host a presentation by acclaimed climber and writer, Ken Crocket, to mark the launch of his new book ‘Mountaineering in Scotland - The Early Days’. The talk will be given in the Parker Suite of the Stirling County Rugby Football Club tonight (Thursday) at 9 p.m. All are welcome, entry is free.

Drummers Required

The Forth Bridges Accordion Band is looking for adults to join its drumming section. No experience is required. An information evening and workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 9. For more information, please call 07834 903858.

Open Auditions

Are you looking for a new hobby? Want to be part of an exciting, fun packed show? Why not join The Stage Door Project and get involved in all the fun staging a pantomime. This year’s production is Cinderella and will be performed in St Andrew’s Church, Bo’ness on Wednesday, December 16 until Saturday, December 19. We are looking for all singing, all dancing chorus of boys and girls as well as principle roles of Cinderella, Prince Charming, Baron Hardup, Baroness Hardup, Buttons, Sally and Senga Hardup (ugly sisters), Fairy Godmother and Zip. New members very welcome. The auditions will take place in St Andrews Church hall (Bo’ness) on Friday, July 3 at noon. Rehearsals are set to take place July/August.
