This week sees the launch of our annual Operation Monarda campaign, tackling unlicensed/bogus workmen in partnership with Trading Standards.

On Tuesday morning officers checking out a roofing company working in the Arnothill area of Falkirk arrested a man who had been wanted on warrant.

If you are suspicious of the legality of anyone working in the local community then please call us on 101 so that officers can attend and check they are legitimate.

This weekend, in response to a report of suspicious activity in the Williamson Street area of Falkirk, officers traced an 18-year-old local man after a foot pursuit.

The man was subsequently charged with theft by housebreaking and appeared at court in relation to this as well as three warrants.

He was remanded in custody at court on Monday.

And finally … on behalf of myself, my mum and my daughter, I just want to say a big thank you to all my colleagues, friends and family who attended our Macmillan coffee morning on Saturday and helped raise £550.50 for a fantastic cause.
