A BUSY week lies ahead for the staff at The Falkirk Herald.
After a brief respite when some of us will be attending the Scottish Press Awards, in which the paper has been shortlisted for an award, it’s back to business on Friday.
And from then on, all our attention will be focused on our relaunch, with the new-look paper appearing on the streets next week.
As I’ve said before, our shift from broadsheet to tabloid 18 months ago was a great success, but we don’t want to stand still.
That’s why, over the past couple of months, we’ve been asking you what you think of The Falkirk Herald and what you would like to see changed or introduced.
We’re using responses received, and other feedback from readers, to shape the format of the paper going forward.
Our magazine section has already had a makeover with a couple more changes planned, while the rest of the paper will feature a crisper, more modern design.
New features will be introduced and we’ve lined up a series of informative and hard-hitting features.
But, whatever the changes, our number one priority remains the same – to represent our readers and be your voice in the town.
