Forth Valley NHS staff are rewarded for long service

In total, 131 people with 2670 years of service between them attended two special ceremonies at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Among them were seven members of staff who had notched up 40 years with the authority.

NHS Forth Valley chairman Alex Linkston and chief executive Jane Grant hosted the awards.

Mr Linkston said: “It was a great pleasure and a privilege to present these awards to staff and to have the opportunity to personally thank them for the contribution they have made to the NHS during their long and dedicated service.”

Ms Grant added: “The staff who attended the award ceremonies came from many professional backgrounds and it was fascinating to hear about their careers and some of the changes they have witnessed.”
