The service will commence at the usual time of 11.30 a.m. and will again be conducted by the Minister. Any magazine articles for our next newsletter should go to Yvonne at Shieldhill Church as soon as possible.

Community Council

This month’s Maddiston Community Council meeting covered a variety of issues including presentations on the Braes footpaths and our project to improve our green spaces. Thanks were extended to Lesley Sweeney and Jessica Paterson from Falkirk Council for attending and presenting an update on these issues. The formation of our growing area in Muiravonside Park is now well in hand and anybody wishing to have a plot should contact Maddiston CC asap. An objection has been made against the erection of a comms mast beside the Fire Service building whilst concern was expressed at the volume and speed of traffic along Nicolton Road. The community council will be present during the week at the site meeting to voice objections to the proposal to build a link road to the A801 which could take traffic from the bypass into Maddiston along Glendevon Drive.
