Falkirk’s police and transport officials are still advising residents to travel with care despite an improvement in the weather.
Police Scotland has reduced the weather warning for road users from a stage four to a stage three.
The council roads teams are attending the worst-affected areas, dealing with flooding and fallen tree branches, but most roads are back to normal.
Bin collections are going ahead although are running several hours behind schedule.
The Forth Road Bridge has now re-opened to cars.
