Falkirk Herald readers are being given the chance to let their Christmas lights shine online.
This festive season the Herald’s website will be alive with readers’ videos of the Christmas lights and decorations which grace the front of their properties.
Editor Colin Hume said: “Love them or loathe them, Christmas lights are becoming increasingly popular.
“For some it has become as important a tradition as Christmas itself, while others put them up simply to cheer up their street and make people smile in these hard times.
“Whatever the reason, the displays will make for vibrant and colourful videos for our website, as well as brightening up the dark nights.”
Readers can submit a short video clip, no more than 15 seconds, of their Christmas lights in all their glory and it will then be displayed on our website.
Those who are interested can simply e-mail their clips to email@example.com with their name, address and contact telephone number over the next few weeks and you will shortly be able to view them online.
