Appliances from Falkirk, Larbert and Linlithgow fire stations were in attendance, with the last departing at 11 p.m.

The blaze quickly spread to the roof of the building, leading to the evacuation of neighbouring properties.

There were no reported injuries.

Traffic along Stirling Street is currently being diverted via Duke Street.
