Police launched an investigation after a woman’s body was found in a Falkirk house.
The grim discovery of the 64-year-old was made around 1.45 p.m. today in a terraced home in Windsor Road.
Throughout the afternoon neighbours watched as police officers carried out forensic investigations of the property.
Tonight these continued as an officer remained outside the front door.
It is understood the woman and her husband had lived in the house for over 30 years.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The death is being treated as unexplained.”
