Roadworks will close the A876 Clackmannanshire Bridge between the Higgins Neuk Roundabout and Kilbagie Roundabout this week.
Resurfacing work will start this Thursday at 10 p.m. and run until 6 a.m. the next day.
The work is expected to last until October 16, but there will be no overnight closures on Saturday and Sunday night.
The diversion for traffic travelling north will be via the A985 Kincardine Bridge to Kincardine and A977 to Kilbagie Roundabout where drivers will be able to resume their journey.
This diversion route will be reversed for southbound traffic.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s Operating Company Representative in the South East, said: “These works are being carried out overnight, when traffic flows are lighter to minimise disruption to motorists.
“We would however encourage them to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional time.”
