Police working the nightshift on Wednesday were able to recover thousands of pounds of Class A drug cocaine.
Two men were arrested in connection with possession of the £30,000 worth of cocaine and were due to appear in Falkirk Sheriff Court today.
Officers swooped upon the suspects after a concerned member of the public allegedly saw a number of people acting suspiciously in a car in the town.
Chief Inspector Billy Drummond said: “This is a significant detection and we are grateful to the member of the public who raised their concerns with us. There is no doubt the fast response of the officers led to a substantial amount of illegal substances being taken off the streets.”
