A new recycling campaign has been launched to encourage householders to take even more care when throwing out their rubbish.
Zero Waste Falkirk will run over the next two years, and will target different areas of the district over six month periods through advertising and awareness events.
Speaking at the launch today, Councillor Craig R. Martin said: “This is the next stage in our message.

“The public have done so well getting to the stage where we are the fourth best council in Scotland for recycling, but we need to take the next step.
“The costs are rising, and we need to reduce our spend on recycling, so that we don’t have to reduce our spending on frontline services.”
