Concerns are growing for a missing Langlees dad last seen over 48 hours ago.

Craig Eddie (38) was seen around 12.45 p.m. on Saturday getting into his silver Mercedes with the distinctive registration L400 EDY.

The car was later traced to Albert Road, Gourock yesterday morning but there was no sign of Mr Eddie.

An extensive search of that area is now underway.

He is described as 5ft 9ins and medium build with short light-brown hair. He walks with a slight limp.

When he was last seen he was wearing light blue jeans and white trainers. The colour of his top is unknown.

Chief Inspector Russell Penman said: “Mr Eddie has been missing before, however, his family and police are concerned for his safety and wellbeing as he has not been in contact since he left home yesterday.

“I would urge anyone who recognises his description, who has any knowledge of his whereabouts or for Mr Eddie to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
