Whether you’re a master cross stitcher or a novice dip stitcher, there’s one class you’re always welcome no matter your ability.
The Meadowbank Knitting and Craft Group meets every second week to practice knitting to produce decorative new designs and craft creations for all purposes.
The group has around 14 enthusiastic members who do cross stitching, bedding, crochet, card making, clothes, bookmarks and bags among other everyday items.
Margo Johnston who helps run the group said: “The group has only been going since January this year and has been very popular so far. It has really gone from strength to strength in a short space of time.
“It’s a very friendly and lively group who enjoy a cuppa and a blether while they do their stuff and we are always looking for new members to join.”
There is also knitting and craft books available for ideas for new things to create.
