Mark the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn at an event in the heart of Falkirk tomorrow.
Trinity Church, formerly Falkirk Old and St Modan’s, is hosting The Faw Kirk Family Pageant.
From 1-4 p.m. there will be a free fun-filled celebration in the church grounds, just off the High Street.
As well as historic drama, there will be jousting, storytelling, archery and a bodhran workshop.
There will also be a chance to meet some birds of prey and take part in craft making.
Keeping with the medieval theme, there will even be a spit-roasted pig to sample along with other snacks.
Trinity churchyard has its own links to the Scottish battles for independence with the tombs of fallen warriors Sir John De Graeme and Sir John Stewart of Bonkhill, who both died at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298, in the grounds.
The pageant also marks the start of the school holidays and the organisers are hopeful the community will join in the celebrations.
