Piano man Elton John is coming to town.
The charismatic performer will headline the first-ever concert at The Falkirk Stadium next summer.
Tickets go on sale on December 2 for the event which takes place on Sunday, June 10 and is part of his 2012 UK tour.
Around 15,000 fans will crowd into the ground for the landmark event.
It comes more than four decades after the international recording star played his first concert in Scotland.
Elton has promised to perform over two hours of hits from his incredible back catalogue, including classics such as ‘Bennie and The Jets’, ‘Crocodile Rock’, ‘Your Song’ and the inimitable ‘Candle in the Wind’.
Delighted at news of the concert finally being unveiled, Elton John told The Falkirk Herald: “This October I played my 3000th live concert and I am still as excited about playing live as I was when my career began – in fact, probably more so.
“In recent years I have tried to include new venues, visiting towns and even countries where I’ve never played before.”
