Firefighters hose down the bin lorry

Firefighter were called out to deal with a burning refuse lorry.

New Hallglen Road, near Dochart Place, was closed by police while two crews from Falkirk fire station tackled the blaze.

The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. and was quickly brought under control.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
