Tiny twins come home to Brightons

WONDER tots Thomas and Lewis Matheson are finally home after being born THREE MONTHS early.

The adorable twins gave parents Sarah and Fraser a few anxious moments, but the couple are delighted that their sons are now thriving.

When Thomas was born at 8.16 a.m. on April 3 he weighed just two pounds and Lewis, who was born two minutes later, was just one ounce heavier.

The pair spent their first few weeks in the neo-natal intensive care unit at Stirling Royal Infirmary with Thomas getting home at the end of May, aged eight weeks. Lewis finally joined his brother and parents at the family home at Canal Walk, Brightons, on July 7, when he was 14 weeks old.

Mum Sarah (26) said: "It's lovely to finally have them both home. It's hard work, but fun."

A staff nurse at Stirling Royal, she discovered on December 10 last year that she was expecting twins when she had her 12 week scan.
