Thieves escaped with a four-figure sum of cash following a daylight robbery at Tamfourhill Post Office.
The incident happened at 1.05 p.m. on Wednesday at the premises in Cumbrae Drive.
It is understood that one man entered the post office and stole the cash whilst a second person waited outside, before both escaped in a light blue car.
One staff member working at the time described the incident as “terrifying”.
No one was hurt during the theft.
