Slip road closed for resurfacing

A motorway slip road will be closed this weekend to allow resurfacing works to be carried out.

Junction 6 northbound, which connects the M9 and Earl’s Gate roundabout in Grangemouth, will close to traffic on Friday at 8 p.m.

It will reopen on Monday at 6 a.m.

Lane closures will also be in place on the northbound carriageway of the M9.

A diversion route will be in place for the duration of the works.

Drivers will be diverted west along the A904 then south on the A9 to Cadger’s Brae Roundabout at Junction 5, where they will be directed to return north on the M9.
