Major refurbishment works are to be carried out on the M9 River Avon Bridge between Junction 3 Linlithgow and Junction 4 Lathallan.
From Monday, January 28, and for the next month, the bridge will undergo a £694,000 upgrade.
During the period of work, a tidal contraflow traffic management system will be in operation with two traffic lanes in operation in the busiest direction at peak times on weekdays.
During the weekend period this may be relaxed to allow one traffic lane in each direction at night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
A 40 mph speed limit will be in place for the safety of the workforce and the travelling public for the duration of the works.
