The search for a missing man has turned to Falkirk.

Craig McCallum (49), who is originally from the town, was last seen at his home in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, on Saturday, March 2.

Concerns for his safety are now growing as his disappearance is “out of character”.

Police inquiries have revealed Mr McCallum has made purchases from Tesco in Falkirk, including copies of The Falkirk Herald.

He is around 5ft 11ins and of heavy build with short brown hair. It is believed he is driving a silver Fiat Punto, registration AD54 AYF.

Kim Pearce, one of those from the Hertfordshire force involved in the investigation, said: “Craig’s disappearance is completely out of character and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and would ask anybody who has seen or had any contact with him to get in touch.

“Craig, if you see this appeal, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
