Motorway tail backs after crash near Kincardine Bridge

A three car collision is causing tailbacks on the M9 at junction 8, the M876 Kinnaird interchange.

The motorway slip-road is down to one lane eastbound and officers from Central Scotland Fire and Rescue and Central Scotland Police are in attendance.

A spokesperson for the police said one male and one female have been taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with injuries following the accident, which happened around 1.30 p.m.

Recovery vehicles are on site and both lanes should be re-opened shortly.
