Two Falkirk shops have closed down and 19 people lost their jobs after a sports retailer went into administration.

Administrators from KPMG were appointed to JJB Sports on Monday and while they secured a buyer for 20 stores, both the stores in the Howgate shopping centre and Central Retail Park have been closed.

Across the UK 133 stores have shut down, resulting in approximately 2200 job losses.
