Free loft and cavity wall insulation that can save money on energy bills is still available from the council.
Tenants and owners of any household in the district that doesn’t have adequate insulation can apply to Falkirk Council to have their home inspected to determine if they qualify.
Having loft insulation can save households up to £300 a year in energy bills.
The scheme is not means tested, there are no hidden costs from contractors, loft clearance is available for those who can’t do it and the work is guaranteed and inspected.
Convenor of housing and social care Councillor Gerry Goldie said: “Thousands of households across the area have already benefitted from the scheme but time is running out if you want to claim the free offer.
“It is straightforward, could save you hundreds of pounds and above all, free.”
