Falkirk set for more rain

After a miserable June and start to July, the rain looks set to continue in Falkirk until August

After a miserable June and start to July, the rain looks set to continue in Falkirk until August

Falkirk is to brace itself for even more rain.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain tomorrow and Wednesday. The rain will become prolonged and occasionally heavy from tomorrow afternoon overnight into Wednesday. The weather experts are warning a heavy downpour on the already saturated ground may cause localised flooding and disruption to transport.

Light showers are forecast for Thursday and moderate rain on Friday with temperatures well below the average for July.

Last month was the wettest June since records began in 1910 and the wash out looks set to continue into August.
