Falkirk’s Howgate helps spread goodwill at Christmas

The joy of giving has been alive and well for an entire decade of festive seasons at Falkirk’s Howgate Shopping Centre.

Working in partnership with The Falkirk Herald and Central FM, the Howgate once again launched its highly successful Giving Tree Appeal this week.

Marketing manager Margaret Foy said: “For 10 years shoppers have shown huge generosity by donating a gift which is then given to a disadvantaged child. The appeal has brought Christmas goodwill to hundreds of young people in our community.

“We are hopeful shoppers will once again show great kindness by donating.”

Shoppers are asked to hand in their gifts, which must be suitable for either a boy or girl aged 17 and under, to the Howgate’s help desk from today (Thursday).
