Central Scotland has been issued a weather warning for the third week in a row.

The Met Office is warning Falkirk to be prepared for more heavy rain on Wednesday all day. The persistent downfall could lead to localised flooding and disrupt travel plans.

Summer 2012 is shaping up to be one of the worst in recent memory with June already declared the wettest on record and July also looking likely to be a record-breaking month. More rain is forecast for the rest of the week with temperatures lower than average for the time of year.
