Firefighters spent hours tackling a huge blaze at a Larbert nursery yesterday.
The alarm was raised just after 3 p.m. after a fire was spotted at Glenbervie Kindergarten next to Carrongrange School.
At the height of the blaze 11 appliances and 40 firefighters were in attendance, including a hydraulic platform.
This morning the pupils have to go to Larbert Nursery in Graham Avenue where they will be accommodated.
Owner Iain Bell said: “Both Helen and I are gutted but the most important thing is the building was empty and no one was hurt.
“Many parents and staff have sent us their support and can only thank you for this.”
