Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Kenny Gray and Grant Kallus from Laurieston as guest mediums for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, December 1. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Parish Church

The recent shoe box appeal produced 29 boxes, which have been forwarded to the Blythswood Project. Many thanks to all who donated. Sunday School staff are pleased to announce the Christmas Fayre raised the sum of £631. Thanks are due to those who attended or assisted in any way to raise this excellent sum for Sunday School funds. Quiz forms should be returned to the information centre on Sunday, November 30. On door duty this Sunday are: Mrs M. Ferguson, Mrs J. Currie, Mr P. Ferguson and Mr W. Daye. The flowers for this service are being donated by Margaret Ferguson. On tea duty are: Mrs H. Pullar, Mrs M. Hoggan, Mrs M. Erskine and Miss M. Brown. The Christingle service is next Sunday, November 30, at 6.30 p.m. in Redding Church. All welcome. Mary and Joseph are preparing for their Advent journey around the congregation. If you would like to play host to them, please put your details on the list in the information area. There will be an opportunity to donate Falkirk Food Bank over the four weeks of Advent starting next Sunday, November 30. The Guild is having its card service on Tuesday, December 2. All welcome in the halls at 7 p.m.

L.O.F.W.A.

The recent collection at Westfield Stadium raised the sum of £627. Many thanks to the supporters of both Falkirk and Hearts fans for their generous donations and to all the collectors specially young Lewis and Erin. The Christmas coffee morning with stall will be held in the hall today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. All supporters of L.O.F.W.A. and friends will be welcome. On Thursday, December 11, the Primary School choir will entertain at the Coffee Morning. Parents and grandparents of the children will be welcome. The Christmas party will be on Friday, December 12 at 7.30 p.m. in the hall, when Alex Anderson will entertain. Tickets are priced at £3 or pay at the door.

Gospel Hall

The preacher at the 3 p.m. Sunday Gospel meeting in the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall, will be Mr Dennis Watt from Lesmahagow. Tea and biscuits will be served afterwards. Everyone is welcome.
