Mediums Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church on Monday, July 21 will have Gary Gray from Glasgow as guest medium for our service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome

Parish Church

The theme of last Sunday’s sermon was ‘People with a purpose’. A big thank you to the Laurieston ladies who attended Martha’s Cafe at Redding Church on Tuesday. The two remaining cafes will be on Tuesday, July 22 and Tuesday, August 5 at 2 p.m in Redding Church hall. On door duty next Sunday are Mrs M. Andrew, Mrs J. White, Mrs C. Park and Mrs S. Marshall. On tea duty are: H. Pullar, M. Hoggan, M. Erskine, and M. Brown. The flower for this service are being donated by Helen Erskine. ‘Falkirk Presbytery’s Got Talent’ takes place on Saturday, September 13 in Falkirk Trinity Church from 10 a.m till 3.30 p.m. Information leaflets with details of activities and workshops are available, along with booking forms, which should be returned as soon as possible. The £5 fee includes snack lunch.
