Parish Church

On door duty on Sunday, August 10, are: Mrs M. Hoggan, Mrs M. Erskine, Miss M. Brown and Mr S. Arneil. On tea duty are: A. Gardner, J. McLellan, G. Ferguson and J. Christie. The flowers for this service are being donated by Margaret Andrew. Falkirk Presbytery’s Got Talent is on Saturday, September 13 in Falkirk Trinity Church from 10 a.m .till 3.30 p.m. Information leaflets, with details of activities and workshops are available, along with booking forms which should be returned as soon as possible. £5 fee includes snack lunch. Martha’s Cafe at Redding Church will have a summer break until further notice. Date for your diary : A musical evening with Steve Grossart and Friends on Saturday, September 27 at 7.30 p.m. in the Greenpark Centre, Polmont. Tickets are £12 adults and £5 children. Please bring your own refreshments.

Walk Cancelled

The Wednesday Helix Walk from Laurieston Square on Wednesday at 7 p.m. has been cancelled for the time being.

Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Heather Friel-Ashberry from Grangemouth as guest medium for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, August 11. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
