Parish Church

The atmosphere in church last Sunday was light-hearted as the congregation celebrated the imminent sixtieth birthday of someone special, in no way detracting from the serious sermon. “The measure of our days”. on Friday, June 27, between 1-4 p.m. Family Pageant at Falkirk Trinity Church to celebrate Bannockburn’s 700th year anniversary. On door duty on Sunday, June 29 are: Mrs I. Strathie, Mrs J. Sherrat, Mrs J. Letham and Mrs E. Gillies. On tea duty are A. Gardner, J. Christie, J. McLellan and G. Ferguson. The flowers for this service are being donated by Elizather Thomson. All are welcome to share morning worship each Sunday at 10 a.m.

Gospel Hall

The preacher at the 3 p.m. Sunday Gospel meeting in the Cotton lane Gospel Hall will be Mr William Innes from Deans, Livingston. tea and biscuits will be served afterwards. Everyone is welcome.

Helix Walks

An evening walk every Wednesday, just turn up at Laurieston Square for 7 p.m. and enjoy a walk around the Helix south paths.Walks are led by experienced walk leaders and we suggest that suitable footwear and clothing be worn. For further details contact Ian Wright on 01324 636799.

Laurieston Spiritualist Church on Monday, June 30 we will have Brenda Walker from Grangemouth as guest medium for our service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
