The meeting took the form of a work party at Larbert Railway Station where a contingent of happy helpers removed bulbs and pansies, along with old compost from some of the planters, ready for the summer season’s flowers. This was warm work as most of the country was bathed in glorious sunshine. With fresh compost in place the Rotarians headed for the Plough Hotel to enjoy a fine meal and fellowship. At this time every year the Rotary Community Garden requires extra maintenance work to ensure it remains trim and colourful. The kind comments from passengers are great encouragement.
