Walking Football

Stenhousemuir F.C. Community Development Director, Jamie Kirk, would be delighted to hear from anyone over 50 wishing to enjoy a new initiative at the club. Walking Football goes ahead at Ochilview every Monday morning at 10.a.m. and given running with the ball is out of bounds, it is ideal for those who feel they would benefit from a gentler form of the game as well as enjoying the social aspect all for free. Tryst Dental Practice sponsors the local sessions where a cuppa can also be partaken. Jamie reckons describing the game does not do it justice and it is better to come along and witness it in practice. The game is already massive in England and Jamie is in the process of fixing up dates for matches against two Premiership clubs South of the border. Motherwell piloted the event a couple of years ago and a match against them is also in the pipeline. Pop in a give it a try or call the Football Club on 562992.
