A SCHOOLGIRL was surprised to be whisked off to London for a fashion shoot for her favourite magazine.
Young Abigail Comrie sent a last-minute entry into the contest to be a Moxie Teenz look-alike model and was shocked just days later when the call came with the news that out of hundreds of entries she had been successful.
Like lots of her friends at Ladeside Primary School in Larbert, she is a fan of the 14-inch trendy dolls which have become a must-have toy since they came on the market earlier this year.
When Mizz magazine was on the lookout for four youngsters to feature as real-life models for characters Arizona, Bijou, Melrose and Tristen, Abigail entered.
She said: "I filled in the entry form and sent a photograph that was stuck on the fridge but never expected to be picked."
