Larbert Opera are hoping their production of the worst script ever written will prove a success.

The talented company will be performing The Producers at the Dobbie Hall next week.

The musical tells the story of Max Bialystock and his accountant Leo Bloom who discover that putting on a flop show could bring in more money than a hit.

The devious producers find a really bad play - called Springtime for Hitler - an outlandish director , and a crazy German and end up with an outrageously camp musical that becomes a Broadway success!

The show is packed with hilarious and risque dialogue and songs.

The Producers is on at the Dobbie Hall in Larbert from Tuesday May 8 to Saturday, May 12.

Tickets, priced £9 (£7 conc, no conc Friday and Saturday), are available from the Steeple Box Office on (01324) 506850.

See next week’s Falkirk Herald for a full review and photos from the show.
