The Communion service on Sunday is at 10.30 a.m. and will be led by Rev. Alec Shuttleworth. Tea and coffee will be served after the service. The Young Church meet at 10.30 a.m. The Men’s Club meet on Monday at 7.30 p.m. in the Session House where the speaker’s topic will be ‘Early Aircraft in Scotland’. The fundraising committee’s latest quiz sheet competition is now available from all members of the Session and Board. Saturday’s cheese and wine raised £1050. Thanks to all who donated. The Scottish country dance class is holding a free introductory class at 8 until 9.30 p.m. in the church hall on Wednesday. Normal weekly classes start on Wednesday, October 8 at the above times. New members, young or old, will be made most welcome. For more information, call 01259 731414. The Guild is holding a soup and sweet lunch on Saturday, October 18. Tickets, priced £2.50, are available from committee members.
