Over £41,000 has been raised to date for the charity which provides support to anyone who has suffered a traumatic brain injury in Falkirk district.

The local Headway group is affiliated with the national

association and provides information, support and
services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers who attend the group meetings.

The group helps people to understand all aspects of a brain injury by increasing awareness of brain injury and its consequences such as providing and promoting
improved approaches to brain injury screening, acute care, assessment, rehabilitation and social re-integration and assisting people with brain injuries to return to
community living.
