A Hallglen hair salon has again made the cut in a prestigious competition.

Staff at Chaplins are celebrating after winning one of four coveted places in the Scottish heat of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards 2016 last Tuesday in Glasgow.

The team, lead by salon owner Rhona Fish, fought off stiff competition and wowed a panel of judges with its fashion-inspired look.

They will now compete at the grand final in London in June which could see them winning the overall title.

Rhona said: “This is the fifth time we’ve made the grand final and we’re so excited. We won the Scottish award in 2009 and would love to win it again. We love being part of this competition and can’t wait to go to London’s O2.”
