Rainbow Hour is a friendly drop-in club for older members of the community to meet up and make friends.
Established in 1996, the group meets every second Tuesday in Denny Baptist Church hall, although it is open to anyone in the Falkirk district aged 60 and over and not just church members.
“It’s a place for people to drop in and have a cup of tea and a chat,” said organiser Peter Brown.
“We have cake laid on and a range of games for people to try if they want.
“We try to arrange a different speaker each week on topics of interest, but the emphasis is on being a welcoming environment.
“We always like to see new people coming along and making friends.”
An annual outing is organised for group members in the summer, and a Christmas lunch is held later in the year.
Transport can be arranged to collect members and drop them home afterwards.
