Book lovers in the Braes area can meet up to discuss their favourite books thanks to the Polmont Book Club.
Members of the group meet every month and it is open to anyone with a passion for reading who wants to go along to meet people who are on the same page when it comes to books.
Librarian Morag Wilson, who helps run the club, said: “The group is a great place for people who love reading and like a good discussion on the books.
“The last time they met up they had to read a biography of their choice and everyone chipped in about what they liked about their choice. They are a very friendly bunch and there’s tea and coffee and plenty of time for a good blether. Most of the books are chosen from the circulating collections from the libraries, but people can suggest books to read.”
Other recent books read include ‘Wild’ by Cheryl Strayed and ‘The Garden of Evening Mists’ by Tan Twan Eng.
