Finding something to keep toddlers entertained and stimulated can be a struggle but there are local groups which do both.

One of them is the Butterfly Beats toddler group which has been running for the past few months by 25-year-old mum Laura Smith, who has worked in nurseries and was a private nanny. Her group meets in the fitness suite of Falkirk’s The Hub in Vicar Street, Bowhouse Community Centre in Grangemouth as well as in Brightons and Larbert and is hoping to expand into other areas in the coming months due to demand.

Butterfly Beats is for toddlers aged from one to three and provides a relaxed environment where children can have fun, learn about new things and mix with other children.

Each class has a different theme ranging from the jungle and rainbows to topics like space with both pop and classical music, nursery rhymes, literacy and numeracy. It’s also a great place for both mums and dads to spend time with their kids.
