Get closer to Jesus and enjoy a good sociable night out with like-minded friends.
That’s what you’ll get with the Brightons Friends of Jesus Group which meets every fortnight in the Braes area.
The group is a Christian organisation for adults with learning disabilities with around 20 members and volunteers to help run it.
Fortnightly meetings are usually a good mix of praise, prayer, sharing, bible study and getting to know more and more about Jesus and his work.
Ivy Blair, who helps run the group, said: “The group has been going for about six years and is a great way for people with learning difficulties to socialise and learn about Jesus in a language that is meaningful to people.
“We have a different programme every week and do all different things like from craft and drama to days out and recently went to Dundee.
“We always end our meetings with a cuppa and lots of chat and laughter.”
