Rainbow Church

Grangemouth’s Rainbow House Spiritualist Church will be holding services at its South Shore Road premises tonight (Thursday) at from 7.30 p.m. with guest medium Brian McTagert and on Sunday at 7.15 p.m. with guest Georgie McGill. Healing is available before both services from 6 - 7 p.m.

KHR Service

The service at Kirk of the Holy Rood on Sunday, July 27 will be conducted by Monica McDonald at 11 a.m. The Summer Walking Group is on every Tuesday. All walks leave from KHR car park at 6.30 p.m. The walk on July 29 is Plean Country Park. Donations for the Nearly New Shop which runs from August 4 - 9 can now be accepted on Wednesday mornings between 10 a.m. - noon. The Kirk of the Holy Rood is participating in the Royal British Legion “Lights Out” initiative as a commemoration of the start of WW1. The Kirk will be open between 10 and 11 p.m. on Monday, August 4 for reflection and thanksgiving for those who fought and died during the First World War. All are welcome to join this act of remembrance.

Zumba Classes

Zumba Gold continues every Monday and Wednesday at Newlands/Beancross Hall (just before the TA centre). Both classes run from 11.15 a.m. to noon and are suitable for beginners to exercise, active older participants or those seeking a lower pace/impact zumba class. Zumba with Carol continues at Grangemouth Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. All classes are on over the school holidays. E-mail carlie307@hotmail.co.uk for more information.

Walking Group

Walks leave from the Community Education Unit, Grangemouth Sports complex every Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. If you or someone you know is having problems with their balance come along to our Wednesday walk where you will be shown mobility, strength and balance exercises (Otago). There will be no Otago session on Wednesday, July 30. All walks are free and open to all abilities. Evangelical Church
