Bowling Club

The opening of the green is on Sunday, March 30 at 1.30 for a 2 p.m. start. The president has asked if members who can spare an hour of their time can come along on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. to help with the general tidy up of the paths around the green. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Miller Hall

On Sunday, the 11 a.m. service will be with Mr Jim McEwan and at 6 p.m. with Mr Jim McFarlane. Bible study will be held on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.

Thornwood Residents

Thornwood Tenants and Residents Associaion is hosting a prize bingo on Saturday, March 22 in the Thornhill Community Centre. Eyes down at 7.30 p.m. Please bring you own cup.

United Church

The kids Sunday club meets in the church hall at 11 a.m. Come along and make new friends while enjoying games, arts and crafts, songs and Bible stories. The youth group (ages 11-18) meets on Sunday at 7 p.m. in the church halls. The Boys Brigade meets weekly in the church halls - Anchor Boys (ages 5-7) on Mondays from 6-7.15p.m., Junior Section (ages 8-10) from 6.30-8 p.m. on Fridays and Company Section (ages 11-18) from 8-10 p.m. on Fridays. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meet throughout the week. The Guild’s AGM takes place on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. in the church halls. The badminton club meets weekly in the church hall on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. Players young and old, from novice to champion are welcome. St James

Rev. Colin Mailer will conduct our service on Sunday, March 23. For future reference, there will be a meeting of the Kirk Session on Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. All elders are encouraged to attend. Children, come along and enjoy the Sunday fun club from 11.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.
