St James

Rev. Colin Mailer will lead worship on Sunday. A short board meeting will take place after the service. The Stated Annual Meeting of St James Church will take place on Sunday, March 1 directly after the morning service.

United Church

Valentine’s coffee morning takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m. until noon in the church halls. Stalls include cake and candy, soft goods and bric-a-brac. Tickets available for £2.50 or pay at the door. All welcome. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meet throughout the week. There is no meeting of the Boys Brigade on Friday. The Company Section club night takes place on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. All three sections will resume on Friday, February 20. The Guild meets on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. in the church halls. This week it’s “Camphill Children’s Trust” with guest speaker Elsie Reilly. All will be made most welcome. The badminton club meets weekly in the church hall on Wednesday from 8 p.m. Players young and old, from novice to champion are welcome. Miller Hall

On Sunday, the 11 a.m. service is with Mr John Townend and the 6 p.m. is with Mr Richard Fettes. The prayer meeting is on Sunday at 5.15 p.m. Bible study is at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.

Westfield Park

Mums group meets on Friday between 10 and noon. Creche provided. Come along and have tea/coffee and meet new friends and let the children play. This is free and can also drop in to suit with these times. Progamme varies. Senior Youth Club meets on Fridays between 6.30 and 8 p.m. New members welcome in age group S1 to S4. Tuck shop available. Come along and join Jane and Allison and Dougie for differnt activities. The community cafe is open on Wednesday/Thursday for lunch between noon and 2 p.m. Food home made and menu varies weekly. Starter £1, main meal £2, sweet £1. Tea/coffee included.
