St James

This Sunday, the Boys Brigade is hosting a Christmas lunch directly after the morning service. If you would like to attend, please write your name on the blackboard within the vestibule. The church will be open from 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 when tea and mince pies will be served prior to the Watchnight Service beginning at 11.30 p.m. All welcome. The next service takes place on Sunday, December 28 at the slightly earlier time of 11 a.m., which will be a joint service between St James and Bainsford congregations held within Bainsford Parish Church. All welcome.

Miller Hall

During the 11 a.m. morning Christmas Carol service, Miller Hall will be joining our friends at the Dawson mission. At 6 p.m. the evening Christmas Carol Service is at the church where our friends from the Dawson Mission will join us. On Christmas Day, the service is at 11 a.m. Come and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bowling Club

The winners of the games night last Friday were Pam Stoddart and David Georgeson. No Games Night this Friday as there is a private function on, but the next games night will be Boxing Day at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the bar for the Hogmanay Party at £6 each. People who are going on the tour to Harrogate next May should have their bus fare paid by December 31. The cost is £55 per person.
