Events and activities on at Westfield Park Community Centre include; Today (Thursday) Job Club meet 10 a.m. – noon; The Community Café is open from noon – 2 p.m; Teenagers Recycled (lunch club OAP) 11.45 a.m – 2 p.m. Citizens Advice Bureau (every 2nd Thursday) from 12.30 to 2 p.m; The Junior Youth Club meet from 6.30 - 7.45 p.m; Senior Youth Club (S1 & S4) from 8p.m. – 9.30 p.m. Friday the mums group meet 10 a.m – noon; Provost Pat Reid’s Surgery from 12.12.30; On Monday a geneology class has started if interested please call (01324) 508520. Tae Kwan Do Class is from 6 – 9 p.m. parent and toddlers 1 – 3 p.m.; Tuesday Job Club meet 1 – 3 p.m. We have a Fly – TY class from 6.30 -8.30 p.m. Wednesday Community Café 12 – 2 p.m. Share a Craft Class 10 a.m. – noon; Girls Group (S1-S4) from 6.30 – 8.30 p.m, Cllr David Alexander’s Surgery 6.45 – 7.30p.m.; We also collect for the Food Bank if you wish to donate please drop off at the centre. We also have an IT suite for public use for internet access, email access, filling in online forms, job searches homework and printing/copying. The kids Sunday Club meets in the church hall at 11 a.m. Come along and make new friends whilst enjoying games, arts and crafts, songs and Bible stories. At 1st Falkirk Boys Brigade, there will be no meeting during the Easter holidays. All sections will resume on Friday, April 24. Grahamston Toddlers meet in the Church Hall on Wednesdays from 9.30 - 11.30 a.m. Cost £1.50 including snack. Feel free to come along or contact Clare on 07720205035. The Maundy Thursday service will be held within Bainsford Parish Church at 7 p.m. Rev Andrew Sarle will take this service at which time, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated. The Good Friday service will be held within St James Church at 7 p.m. Rev Colin Mailer will lead worship on that evening. If you would like to participate in our ‘Flowering of the Cross’ from 10 a.m. on Saturday in the church hall, please come along. If desired, please bring along a bunch of white flowers. Rev. Colin Mailer will conduct morning service on Easter Sunday. Tea will be served in the hall after the service. Please note that as of April 12, the time of worship will change from 11.15 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will also be celebrated.
The 10.30 a.m. Easter Breakfast will be followed by the family service which will be taken by Mr Jack Watson. The
6 p.m. will be Mr Jim McEwan will be taking the service and we will be joined by our friends from Olivet Hall. Bible study will be on Wednesday, April 8 at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.
